Works & Bio

Sabrina Ferrari

Sabrina Ferrari is a Veronese artist applied to the creation of bronze sculptures with a tactile and evanescent charm, characterized also by a constant and manifest vitality. Through a careful examination of her collection of works, the main aspect which meets the high degree of maturity of her work emerges unequivocally. I am referring to the peculiar and polyphonic way in which the author treats the surface of her subjects, at the very moment in which she meticulously smoothes them. Sabrina grants relative importance to the subject of her compositions. In fact, she often deals with themes collected from individual areas such as dance or the circus world or, more broadly, she refers to the boundless reality of the animal world. The phase of choosing what will then be represented through the sculptural medium is, therefore, the result of a sudden glow, almost the flash of love at first sight that invades the artist and through her imposes his desire to be kidnapped. and reproduced under the artificial guise fruit of artistic work.

With intensity, Sabrina identifies or simply imagines the solid and cold remains that will host her works; a real artistic envelope of lived content, even before being chosen. And it is to these remains that she dedicates her effort, it is with them that the artist releases her talent. Her irrepressible enthusiasm pushes her to seek references to the past beyond the self-constituted limits of a personalistic language.
